Peace and
Justice Shall Embrace
Ted Grimsrud teaches
theology and peace studies at Eastern Mennonite
University, Harrisonburg, Virginia. Prior to joining the
EMU faculty, he served for ten years as a Mennonite
pastor in Oregon, Arizona, and South Dakota.
Grimsrud holds an M.A. in
Peace Studies from Associated Mennonite Biblical Seminary
and a Ph.D. in Christian Ethics from the Graduate
Theological Union. He is author of Triumph of the
Lamb: A Self-Study Guide to the Book of Revelation
(Herald Press, 1987).
He lives in Harrisonburg
with his wife, Kathleen Temple, and teen-age son Johan
Grimsrud. He is a member of Shalom Mennonite Church.
Loren L. Johns
is associate professor of religion at Bluffton College,
Bluffton, Ohio, where he teaches biblical studies. Before
joining the faculty at Bluffton, he served for eight
years as a pastor at Blough Mennonite Church in
Hollsopple, Pennsylvania, and for several years as an
overseer in the Allegheny Mennonite Conference. He also
served four years as theology book editor at Herald
Press, Scottdale, Pennsylvania.
Johns holds an M.Div. from
Associated Mennonite Biblical Seminary and a Ph.D. in
Biblical Studies from Princeton Theological Seminary. He
is coeditor of Hillel and Jesus: Comparisons of Two
Major Religious Leaders, and author of several
scholarly articles.
He lives in Bluffton with
his wife, Rachel Johns. They have two daughters, Kendra
and Jessica, and are members at First Mennonite Church,
Bluffton, Ohio.
